I wrote a post about becoming aware of a deep Want of mine: to feel limitless in my creativity. Ever heard the saying, 'you have to name it, to claim it?' I do find it empowering to name my Want, yes. In fact, I recommend it! I felt a "storm front" of depression and anxiety blow in to my orbit, and it totally knocked the wind out of my sails for a couple days. I hate it when that happens. But, a walk with a friend reminded me about the role of Setting in my life as a story. My environment shapes me, certainly; but, I can also make changes.
